I can do this flight on Sunday, weather permitting. I normally do long flights, so this one I can do in one leg. I am based in Terrell so I would fly to Killeen (KILE) and then to Alabama. I would fly into Harrris County Airport (KPIM) due to gas prices though. Do you still need transport?

Here are some instructions for people new to PNP. I cant make this point strongly enough, my times are based on Dallas time, Central Standard Time or Central Daylight Time, so you MUST translate that for arrival and departure into your LOCAL time zone. These are such long flights, i cannot afford to wait on someone who got the time wrong to get out to the airport to pick up or drop off. The best thing to do is track my flights on http://www.flightaware.com by my tail number. It is normally accurate down to the minute for arrival times. The link is in my signature. That will give you a pretty accurate track of my progress and time to land. I normally take about an hour to fuel up and load the animals and get back in the air. ALso, for and flights that start with animals being loaded up at My airport in Terrell, you will need to be at my hangar 30 minutes BEFORE the times mentioned as they are takoff times, and we will need time to load the animals. My time is valuable as these are VERY long transports and I am doing both departure and return in one day, so you being there on time is very important. In addition to the time flying back, i have 30 minutes of work putting the plane up and another 45 minutes to drive home, so every minute counts. Another thing is I fly a small single engine four seat aircraft. It is not a JET. I cannot climb over thunderstorms like a jet can. I do not have on-board radar, or a weather and dispatch/flight planning and maintenance staff on the ground waiting for my call like an airline does. I do not have a copilot ready to back me up for all the in-flight chores when there is too much for me to handle. So it is MUCH more likely that i will have to cancel due to weather. So be prepared for this. Next, do NOT use email or PNP private messaging for a transport. Post everything on your transport request posting. It is HIGHLY likely that i will not see anything you send via email or PNP private messaging. I look at the transport request post for everything. As for the transport itself, i will need crate to ship the dog in, unless I have one already that fits. The smaller the better. For transporting, the animal does not need a full size crate. One just big enough for them to curl up and sleep is fine. Next is the paperwork. I need rabies and vet papers for travel across state lines. As for the transport forms, be sure to remind me if i forget. You will need to fill them out and sign them at both ends of the transport. We need a leash, and a harness as well. The morning of the transport, feed the animals very little, to prevent airsickness. A little water is fine. And make sure they go just before the transport, so they will be okay while flying.

We have to cancel our flight today. We have low ceilings for most of the route. WE can reschedule for later in the week or next week. IT depends on my work schedule.
