It's last minute, but I am headed from St. Louis (KSUS) to Columbus, OH on Thursday and could drop off in Indy.

Morning,

I am at 6M2 a little off the track in northern Arkansas. I am willing to fly a total of 300 NM to aid in this rescue. We can also host overnight if that would help.

John

Linda,

There are at least 10 airports serving the San Antoino area. I just picked one, Stinson Municipal (KSSF), as a starting point. KSSF to 6M2 , Horseshoe Bend, AR., is 530 nautical miles (NM). 6M2 (the airport at Horseshoe Bend) is 350 NM South West of KUMP (Indianapolis Metropolitan) an airport I just picked, since I don’t know were in the area would most convenient . So the total is about 900 NM.

The short story is: if a way to get the dog to Horseshoe Bend or an airport very close is found, I would get her to an airport about half way to Indianapolis.

Thank you for your service,

John

Hello everybody, just now seeing this post. John, if you can bring the transport my way at Kennett, MO. ( KTKX ) i can transport to Mike at Spirit ( KSUS ); or i can go a little north along the route and pickup at Poplar Bluff, MO. ( KPOF ) whichever serves you better; but Kennett is 83 nm east of Horseshoe Bend. I should also point out we have a low front moving in frm the west, be over Southeast MO. and the surrounding area by 1630 Sat. afternoon. If this is to happen we air warriors will have to come together quickly, get on our cell phones, coordinate, and make this happen; forum post is too slow. I also have a Civil Air Patrol CHRISTmas banquet to attend Sat. night at 1900. So, my fellow fliers; can we make this happen this Holiday season for this VET; i think we can. By the by Linda, i'm also a Vet; thank you for ur service to this great nation of ours and God Bless our troops and America. :D :plane: CAP 2nd LT. Harold Gough, cell # 573-625-9515... Let's get to work guys and gals..

All,

Harold is correct. And we need someone to step in and coordinate this effort. I am good for +_ 300 NM total (out and back to 6M2) in any direction. A/C and pilot IFR capable. Cell # 870 404 3486, e-mail: [email protected]
