Towby are you available to fly on Sunday? I'm not sure that I can fit all 4 dogs in the plane, and I really would like the Rottie to be crated. Is it not possible to crate it after the surgery?

I'm curious about that as well. Ayork, do you see a problem on your end? Josh is available, we are just not sure how to fit all four. Either way I think the rottie has to be crated....

We should be able to fit the dogs.

Sarah, Andrew is willing to fly the entire flight if you don't think they will fit in your plane. The rottie can be crated, but may need a towel or blanket for cushioning.

Right now, I think we need to wait and get a more accurate weather forecast. The tentative forecast is calling for ceilings between 500 and 900 early on Sunday morning in KC, it improves as the day progresses, but as the day progresses, I don't have availability to an airplane any longer. I don't mind the IFR conditions, except I work midnights on Saturday which means, that I'd have to fly in IMC with no sleep, which probably isn't the best combination.

Let's switch this to email, so it's easier to follow. I could also do an evening flight on Sunday. I just don't have access to the plane from noon-4:00.

Josh & Jessica,

I think I have the right size crates that will fit in your Cherokee with the back seats removed and accommodate your passengers. Let me know and I'll get you a key to the hangar.
