Health Condition: Good, had surgery 2 weeks ago..

Special needs: Dante is at the vet's recovering from surgery for a severely fractured femur of his back leg , It has been 2 weeks since his operation and per the vet dante is now ready to go to a foster home to continue his rehab and recuperation.

Additional Info/situation: Dante is a Border Collie we pulled from a high-kill Miami shelter on his last day. He had a badly fractured femur of the back leg which required immediate surgery. Per the vet it was an old injury that should have been repaired some time ago and he was in considerable pain ( compounded by chronic luxation of his patella). He had his surgery a fortnight ago and has now been cleared for travel..Has a wonderful foster home anxiously awaiting his arrival in Bradenton
