Additional Info/situation:

Beautiful mama dog ("Biscuit") with weanable pups being surrendered to a rescue in Houston, TX. They are living in overcrowded conditions with inadequate food/water supply. We need to get them out ASAP before the elderly owner has a change of heart. This is the third set of puppies we have rescued from this gentleman but the first time he has let us have one of the producing mothers!! She is only 3-4 years of age but has already had numerous litters of puppies.

We prefer to fly into the David Wayne Hooks airport in the Spring/Tomball area if possible. However, we are flexible and can meet the pilot's preference of airports. Pilot will need a medium cage for the mother (she is tall, but thin) and a medium for the 4-5 puppies he is letting us have. Two smaller crates would also work for the pups as we could divide them up.

Weather is great this week in South Louisiana, but not sure about the weekend.

Carolyn,

I believe Wade spoke on the phone with you about me helping out. I fly out of Hooks so this may be a good fit. I don't have any crates or anything (this will be my very first mission!) so anything you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I have a rental plane booked for 10:00am. Weather overall looks good. The only concern is cloud cover. We will have to wait until Saturday morning to see how high and thick the ceilings will be to make the final go/no-go decision. Wade and I will keep you posted.

Thanks, Julian, for your generous offer. Today was a "double" for us--weather was gorgeous so you flew over to pick up Biscuit and her pups and Wade arrived about 30 minutes earlier to pick up the others from the Thibodaux shelter. Was neat to see 2 Pilots n Paws planes there at the same time and to watch both of you taking off. Julian headed to NW Houston, while Wade took his crew to Pearland.
Welcome to the PnP team, Julian, and thanks ever so much for helping Biscuit and her pups.
