John & Dave-

It looks like we are all set for ground transporters from Angola eastward, so with your help this transport should be full for Saturday. We'll obviously continue to keep an eye on the weather and hope for the best.

Would you mind giving me a rough estimate of flight time for each of your legs though so I can make sure the ground transporters can do their legs at the right time? Also, Dave, please let me know the earliest you think we can leave the ground in Manitowoc. The current schedule the ground transporters have would mean Boone (the Pointer all this fuss is for) would arrive in Angola around 2:15pm, so I think if we can work something out between the two of you to get him by then at the latest we should be good. Thanks!

My time enroute (no-wind; will likely be a bit less) will be 1:10 to 1:20 depending on which aircraft I use.
I assume your 2:15p arrival time is EDT?

Emily,

I just had a change of schedule and my available days are now April 21, 22 and 23rd. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I can leave Manitowoc at 8:40 am. So I could meet the foster at 08:00 am, make sure the pup is watered and gone to the bathroom. Flight time down to DuPage will be 1 hour and 10 minutes. I also need to know whether the pup will have a carrier and the dimensions of that. I have my own, but it stays with my plane and John will need to provide one.

Sorry I can't do Saturday. Sunday perhaps? Or one of my othe two days. I work 5 day blocks flying business jets and they are sending me out tomorrow, back on Saturday. Not a problem if you decide to use someone else to fly my leg on Saturday instead.

Dave

Hi John-

Yes, the 2:15 arrival is EDT, so lets plan on a departure for you around 11:45am CDT, if that works for you. We may be able to do earlier if you need to. I am still working on how to get him down to you though, and I'll keep you updated once I do.

Dave- Bummer about the schedule change! We can't move this transport to Sunday, as it is long enough with the ground transports after IN that it is already 2 days, and it is generally very hard to move during the week. But would you mind keep Sunday a little open? I am checking with some people, but there is a slight chance we may be able to move a dog from STL to Valders this weekend (the foster replacement for the guy we are hoping to move on Sat), and if you could pick up somewhere south and bring him up to Manitowoc that would be perfect.

Thanks to both!
