I am interested in this flight, but because I work, it'd have to be on Saturday, June 22. I fly from Decatur, so if the weather permits, I would prefer to fly early morning. Could you have the dog at the Pell City airport (St. Clair county airport) by 8:00 AM CENTRAL time Saturday? Arrival time in Knoxville will be about 11:30 EASTERN time. I would prefer to fly to the Knoxville Downtown Island airport, but I would be open to others, if more convenient for the receiver.

We can set up emails and cell phone numbers later, away from this forum. :-)

Thanks Don! I've actually just had someone offer to drive him up there on a transport that is already organized. I hadn't taken it off this post until I knew it was definitely going to go, but I think it should be safe (fingers crossed) to figure we can do it via ground and that hopefully would save you gas and time? I'll definitely let you know in the next 24h if something should happen, but for now lets plan on us being to able to go the ground route. I really appreciate your offer to help!

A driver cancelled! There is now a hole from Fort Payne, AL to Cleveland, TN for tomorrow am (6/22)! If anyone can help us get this covered so this boy can get to his foster home I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Emily

Hi Emily,
I just got your pm to my email inbox and just now read this update. So it sounds like you do have this ground transport covered...right?
