Additional Info/situation:

This coonhound has been in the shelter since at least 07 June, and we've been informed by the shelter that she's out of time. San Antonio SPCA can take her, if we can get her there. I've been trying for ground transport without success. Even if we can't move her immediately, I think the shelter will hold her a few more days if they know we have a transport commitment. I don't know that they'll hold her all the way to the weekend, but if that's when we have transport I'll at least try to get them to. During the week would, of course, but better, but more difficult for many of you.

I can't confirm yet, but I think I might be able to get ground transport as far as GTU. I know someone who lives near Killeen and has family in Georgetown, so she makes that trek from time to time. I'm waiting to hear from her.

Thank you for helping the homeless animals.

I might be able to do around 5pm if someone can get him to Georgetown by then.

I heard from my possible transport to GTU. She's dealing with a family medical emergency and can't help. We'll have to work from ILE.

If schedules for others happen to fit, I can make a late morning run on Tuesday.

If this falls through, I can fly this late on Wednesday. Unfortunately a plane isn't available until 1930, putting me at KILE at the earliest 20:15, probably closer to 20:30, 5C1 at 21:30ish. I need to know ASAP so I can book the plane and find an extra pair of hands if so.

It looks like we have a transport, mid-day tomorrow, thanks to cardrac2000. I want to thank Alex and Shane for their kind offers.

Would someone please turn off the water? It's leaking from the sky and delaying today's transport. :(

Thank you, cardrac2000! Our Bluetick girl arrived safely this evening and is checking out her new digs. The shelter manager from the Killeen shelter drove from the shelter to GTU, in Georgetown, to meet the flight.

One more flown to safety!
