Additional Info/situation:
Poor Lil' Bit was found by an Animal Control officer's family down in Baldwin, LA. She was emaciated (2 1/2#) and almost completely bald. They immediately took her to the vet, where she received treatment for red mange and flea dermatitis.
This was almost a month ago and Lil' Bit has made amazing strides, including a weight gain of another 2 1/2 pounds. She Is extremely people oriented and is a true lap dog. She likes small dogs but is a little wary of the larger ones. She also insists on being the Alpha dog of the group.
Terry Casillas of Tired Dog Rescue in Gulfport, MS, is taking this dog into her program, so we need to get her from the Abbeville/New Iberia area to Gulfport/Biloxi (GPT).
One small crate (cat crate) is all that is needed for Lil' Bit.
