CHATTANOOGA,TN TO FARIBAULT, MN SAT-SUN JULY/11-12 (NOT THE JULY 4TH WEEKEND)
PEPSI & COKE 2 MINI AUSSIES

TRANSPORT COORDINATOR: Kim Kleppel, [email protected]

Pepsi and Coke, 2 special needs mini Aussies (Pepsi is deaf and blind and Coke can hear but is severely vision impaired) were only 6 weeks old when Lee took them in to prevent them from being killed. They are now old enough to travel, and so off they are going on the long trip from GA to MN where a special needs rescue with some approved apps for forever homes is waiting for them. They will be coming with one small to medium crate.

We may also have a 4-mo-old deaf boxer puppy.

Won’t you help them on their way?

By the way, this trip wanders through time zones, sometimes with not much rhyme or reason, so please note for what time and according to what time zone you would be volunteering.

IF THERE ARE LINES CROSSING ANYTHING OUT, PLEASE IGNORE THEM. JUST READ WHETHER A LEG IS OPEN OR FILLED AND RESPOND ACCORDINGLY. IT IS JUST AOL PLAYING WITH MY (AND YOUR) MIND.

They are set up that way, but can easily be re-arranged.

Mark,

You are correct and pilots can, have and do work with wonderful ground transporters. However, these crosspostings are confusing as they are not being posted by the actual ground transporter who is making the request.

In the rescue world, it is quite common to crosspost lots of information to reach as many people as possible. This forum board is not set up for that kind of crossposting and pilots who are not familiar with this process just scroll by these posts and I don't blame you! I offered what I felt were very constructive suggestions to this poster but she made the decision to not work within the board and to leave. It is unfortunate because as I said, many ground transporters here have worked hand in hand with pilots they just had to learn to do it a bit differently then what they are used too.

I have also heard from a pilot privately that they have been sent these same ground transport emails privately and numerous times lately. Pilots, if this continue please let us know. They are being sent without our knowledge. We hope that you will continue to work with ground transporters as they need us and we need them for these longer distances.

Thanks,
Admin
