9/29-Help 3 little basset ladies with ride from NC to PA
Posted: Mon Sep 16, 2013 8:38 pm
Number of animals being transported: 3
Breeds, weight, age: All purebred Bassets, all 35-45lbs, all around 1 yr old. They all get along with one another and they love everyone!
Health Condition: excellent (1 is in heat as of 9/14). This will not hamper transport conditions.
Heart worm Status: All negative
Vaccinations: all UTD will confirm actual vaccs
Health Certificate: Will have current health certificate for travel
Spay/Neutered: no for all 3, but all 3 will be spayed upon NY arrival.
Special needs: None
Name of Sending Rescue/Parties: A good Samaritan!
Name of Receiving Rescue/Parties: ABC Basset Rescue of New York
Contact information (publicly viewable on forum): Leslie Eyster, cell 910-297-7446 and email [email protected]
Are you a 501c3: Yes
Additional Info/situation: A good Samaritan saw these 3 little girls advertised on Craigs List for sale at an extremely minimal price. This could have been a nightmare because all three could have been sold to breeders. The good Samaritan convinced the seller to let her buy them so they would be out of harms way. Now they have a chance at finding wonderful, loving families with this reputable rescue group. The lady is no longer able to keep them, so we are looking for transport as soon as possible. Please offer any suggestions on a flight path. An overnight foster can be located if this will need to be a two day transport.
Thank you so very much for all that you do!
9/19/2013 Update: The girls are currently located in Fla. Jeremy and Susan are offering to get them to Charlotte NC on Saturday, 9/28. We have an offer on Sunday, 9/29 for a final leg from PNE to K23. We need to try to find legs from NC to PA on Sunday, 9/29. Does anyone have any suggestions?
