Bassett mix was living on a chain near Kentwood, LA, and was rescued by Joni Solis and sister Barbara Jaeger. All 3 have been accepted at Brazoria County Humane where they will be completely vetted and offered up for adoption to the public.

Provided weather cooperates, PnP pilot Julian Sanchez will come pick this guys up on Saturday, 9/28.

Weather cooperated, but airplane did not. Julian's rental plane had some problems, so we had to scrub the trip. Rain predicted for most of this week but Wade Roberts will try to come get them if we get a break. Steve Glenn is on go to pick them up Sunday if Wade can't get here earlier. Always great to have a backup plan!! They are living in my house so they are in no danger; however,
getting attached to them as usual!

TRIP COMPLETED, SUNDAY, 10/06: Thanks, Steve and Gillian. We actually added a fourth passenger: a Malti-poo neutered male named Marley from the Jefferson Parish, East Bank, Shelter, New Orleans. Thanks also to Bob Shearer for filling in for his wife Patty by meeting the plane at Ellington Field and transporting the dogs to the Brazoria shelter. It "takes a village" to get all these guys safe!!
