Hi Deb
I should be able to grab this trip if weather is good. Is there a chance we could meet at KPKB (Parkersburg) if the weather is iffy so we can grab an instrument approach if needed. Otherwise we can meet at KGAS (Gallipolis) about 1030am if weather is good. Do any of the dogs have any collars, crates or etc. I was thinking about an hour to fuel and load at we would take off about 1130am with about 3 hr return to Lancaster. Please let me know your thoughts when you have a chance. My email is [email protected]
Thanks
Matt

Thanks Matt! Are you in NY and doing a round trip from here, or are you in Ohio? I will ask the shelter staff if they can do the other airport you mentioned, in the event there is a weather issue. Will get back to you, and thanks again!!!

Hi Deb
No thanks needed glad to help out. Ironically I am based out of KBQR (Lancaster NY) so it's a round trip out of Lancaster. The great news is this is my first PNP trip but an experienced and all around great guy PNP pilot Dan Drennan offered to fly with me. He has also been there before on a PNP trip so that is huge plus as well. Lets stay in close contact and keep an eye on the weather in case we have to have a PLAN B. I look forward to meeting you and helping out PNP!!
Take Care
Matt

PS . check out this nice article that was in the Buffalo News if you have a chance

Thanks Mahesh ! Ironically I joined PNP a few days before that great article ran in the Buffalo News and I typically do not read the news but somehow saw the great article about PNP and Open Arms. It is people like you, Dan, Deb and other volunteers that make me realize that there is a lot of amazing kind folks in the world in which we live and each us can help in our own ways to help make it a better place. When everyone works together for a great cause anything is possible! That is an awesome video on You Tube!
