I received another request to take 2 german shepherd puppies to Hickory on Friday with the K-9. Is the dog friendly? Can she be transported with other dogs? If not, I will tell them I cant do it and we will still take Inca as her request came first.

Ryan, Kimmie,

Count me in as a backup pilot and plane for the Charleston-Hickory leg on Friday. I fly a Piper Seneca - a 6-seat twin.

Thanks,
- Chuck

Ryan, I'm also considering those puppies. I would think the big girl would have to be in a crate, puppies can be pests. I have the big crate you can borrow. George

George, you have 2 crates that will fit in the SR22? I told them it likely wont work keeping them in the same plane. I worry about world war 3 going on between the 2 crates.

I have both a late and medium crate. Send a email to PNP and they will send you a crate package free. First, you have to fold the back seats down by pulling out the 4 pins with your head in the baggage compartment. Then you assemble the large crate in the back of the plane (takes about a minute). The large crate fits length wise and the medium crate can be put right in width wise. I have carried multiple dogs before without incident. I'm guessing the military dog is probably well behaved and used to being in a crate.

OK, thanks George. My Cirrus is different, because I have the 2012 5-seat model. Mine fold down but not flat. I told them I am not comfortable moving the puppies with the K-9, so I am only moving Inca now.

Can everyone send me their email address? Also, can someone send me the cell numbers and info for the person picking up the dog in hickory so i can text them before we take off. George, what is your tail number? I will track you online and try to get to JZI around the same time you do.

Email addresses and cell numbers would be great.
