I love the longer transports, too. It's like working a jigsaw puzzle to make it all come together! There are lots of pilots in St. Louis--try sending several a personal private message. Many fly out of SUS. If a Spirit (SUS) pilot would go get Mecca in Fayetteville but doesn't want to come to Downtown (CPS) and if Jerry doesn't want to go to SUS, I would be willing to drive her between SUS and CPS to Jerry. I don't have access to an airplane anymore, but I'm willing to drive to help this sweet girl. Bait dogs and dog fighting is one thing that really set me off and I'd really like to help. (But I don't want to drive to Fayetteville and back, sorry! LOL)

Great idea, Diane. It would also be fun to fly along with someone if you're up for it.

Thank you Diane - that is awesome :-) I know, those poor bait dogs and Mecca is just sooo sweet!! makes my blood boil to hear how anybody could do that!

Would this weekend work for you all by any chance?? What will the weather be like on Saturday? Otherwise we will stick to 11/23....

OK, trying to get all pilots/transporters on e-mail string - pls e-mail me at [email protected]

Mike, I'm on your docs too - thank you for that awesome e-mail!

Has Mecca made it to his new home? If not, I'm still up for helping!

Hi Diane, I am so sorry not to have replied, I just saw this now :-(

Actually Mecca was adopted locally to a wonderful family in Dallas and then this "air train" was taken over by another rescue who were desperate to move some dogs along the same route and that was completed successfully thanks to Pilots for Paws!!!! I had left this thread open at the time for that rescue but they continued by e-mail.... I will now click on "done" :-)

Thank you again for your support though!!!!!

Sandra
