I may be able to help with the SQI to HUF on Saturday pending weather. What are the crate dimensions?

You would need to provide the crate for the dog going from SQI to HUF as she doesn't have one.
The dimensions on the crate for the male, I will have to check on with the owner.
Can we take this conversation to [email protected] ? That is my rescue "work" email address.
Thanks and I'll get back to you about the crate size.

Are the 2 dogs in this transport going to different locations (I.e. Terre Haute and Chicago)? If so, I can help with the transport to Chicago if needed as it seems like the SQI to HUF flight may be covered. I'm based at DuPage (in West Chicago) and could transport from KSQI to an airport in the Chicago area. Let me know if I can help.

Hi Mike,
Yes I've had 2 pilots reply for SQI to HUF.
I think I have the dog from Sterling to Chicago covered via ground transport on Sat afternoon. I'm still checking on that.
Let me get back to you tomorrow as I should know more then.
Thanks,
Dawn Brumleve and Miko (my retired shiba guide dog), MSIR transport coordinators
P.S. We can move this conversation to [email protected] as well if that is easier for you. That is my rescue "work" email address.

Hi Todd,
All the owner will tell me about the crate is it is "large". If you have a crate that would fit your plane and a 40 lb dog, then it might work best if we collapse the crate she is sending and use your own crate for this girl.
Do you know what time you would be up at KSQI on Sat and thus what time in KHUF? If you prefer to use the smaller airport in the Terre Haute area (Sky King K3I3) that would be okay too.
I'll PN you with my phone # if you prefer to call me.
Thanks,
Dawn and Miko

Hey all,
Both dogs have full transports. The Terre Haute dog via PNP and the Chicago dog via ground. I REALLY appreciate everyone's efforts to help these 2 dogs. I hope to keep in contact with each of you in the future as we do alot of transporting along I-39 in northern IL as well as the Chicago area.
Thank you all,
