Would be glad to transport the last leg from Philly area to Boston, weather permitting.
Re: Searra - Lab Collie Mix Furever home MA
That would be great, now if we can get the other legs filled to Philly. Thank you for your quick response.

With enough notice and decent weather, I could fly the first leg to Texarkana TX/AR, possibly to near Little Rock AR if the pooch could be delivered to my home field, Pearland Regional Airport, on the SE side of Houston. You're likely looking at a minimum of four legs (and four pilots) to get from there to Philly (and likely the need for overnight boarding en route).
I'll help if I possibly can.
These PNP links might be helpful for a transport of that distance:

http://www.pilotsnpaws.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=76
There's also a way to search for (and email/PM) pilots and fosters along the route:
http://www.pilotsnpaws.org/maps/maps_volunteers.php
And check this topic on PNP: Commercial Aviation Personnel Transport Offers
It can be challenging, but it's possible to combine ground transport with PNP flights, too.
Given the number of legs that need to be filled; the likelihood of a 2, maybe three day transport (multiple transfers); the real possibility of needing boarding en route; the high temps (at least here along the Texas Gulf Coast); and the possibility of weather en route interfering: sometimes commercial transport is best for the pooch (you'll see that in my PNP topic pasted above). If you opt for that, I'd be happy to pick the pooch up in Hempstead, fly it to Pearland Regional, board it overnight, and drive it the next day to IAH (Bush Intercontinental in Houston) to catch a nonstop flight to Logan. I've done that before.
Happy to help any way I possibly can.
Best,
Wade

Re: Searra - Lab Collie Mix Furever home MA
Thank you all for your help in trying to get Searra to her home, she is headed out on a flight today to MA!! They were anxious to get her before leaving for the beach house on Wed, so they could take her with them. We managed to get her all set with a direct flight there this am.
Thanks for all you do, and safe travels......Paws up!
