Castaway Pet Rescue, Inc of Antioch, IL and Animal Rescue League of Northwest Georgia in Calhoun, GA would love to participate in PNP5000. We know that our shelter and rescue are too far apart. The sending shelter will drive north a ways and we will drive south a ways. We are proposing they leave from Murfreesboro, TN and land in Evansville, IN. The number and size of dogs will be determined based on the recomendations of our pilot and our rescue's capacity at the time of the transport.

Debbie,

I am in Knoxville and I plan on flying as many pups as possible during the PNP 5000.

If you can get pups to or near Knoxville maybe we can pencil in one of the days. If that is too difficult, promise to fill my plane and I may come closer to you. I can hold anywhere from 2 to 15 depending on their size and how well they would share a crate.

treat this as filled please and give me more details as they become available to you.

Thanks Jon. I am waiting to hear if they can get the dogs to Knoxville. I think we could fill up your plane. We have a month to plan accordingly. There are other rescues we could enlist to help take some dogs too. If we fill the plane, could you come up near Waukegan, IL, 60087? I don't know if my minivan can fit them all to get them up here from Evansville. I have family down in Evansville and thought that would be a good stopping point to keep it 200-300 miles. If you can go more, that would be great. Either way, we will make it work!

We are excited to be participating. I can't wait to get it lined up and post it on our website. This could be good press release material to get visability in our papers for rescues and Pilot N Paws. I'll have to read more on the site and see if there are guidelines to follow per Pilots N Paws first.
