FILLED! We have one toy fox terrier min pin female mix, 5 months old going to a forever home from rescue. She is less than 10#. We can split this leg up, depending on what is available. She was saved from pound bound by owners that surrendered her at a grooming shop and said "good riddence and good luck". We have had her for a few weeks, and she didn't deserve that. We are Ohio Appalachian Animal Rescue and we are in the process of forming Appalachian Ohio SPCA and have just received our EIN. Can you help this appalachian Ohio dog get to its forever home? Ohio is not a good place to be an animal. We can ground transport to Pittsburgh area or another, since no New Philadelphia pilots seem to be onboard.

That's a long way to fly a dog by General Aviation, and will take several legs. However, I am in NW Ohio and could get the dog as far as Chicago. It will take a lot of coordination and some fostering midway to get the dog all the way to Seattle, unless you can find a corporate jet/airline flight able to do it in one leg.

Keep me informed.

I'm not a pilot, but can foster in Chicago if you can set-up the next leg with a pilot.
I could also transport by car a few hours (Chicago to Milwaukee, Davenport, etc) if that helps.
Let me know. :-)

Thank you for the offer of fostering, but it looks like we are arranging a cargo shipment via airline, and I will be flying Julie to the airport and getting her on a jet, somewhere closer here in Ohio, and then she will fly to Seattle.

Good to know there are fosters in Chicago!

Okay, looks like I will be in New Philadelphia Thurs Sept 17 at 1 pm, in order to get Julie to Cincinnati for her flight to Seattle. I'll keep in touch with everyone until then.

Julie has been delivered to the Cincinnati airport for her big airline trip to Seattle and her new forever home. All is well.
