Chattanooga TN - Albany NY DONE

Postby ktt8 on Tue Dec 02, 2008 9:13 pm

Have filled the transport by ground. Thanks for the responses. Kathi

Still trying to get Star to Albany NY, wondering if anyone is going this weekend? 12/13.
Thanks Kathi

Transport needed for 4 year old hound mix coming from temp foster and going to rescue in Albany NY. Star is currently in Chattanooga TN, she was pulled from a high kill shelter and has been in her "quarrantine" period. Now she is ready to move on to her better life.
We are trying to work on ground transport now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kathi Tufts

I suggest you start by looking @ pilots in the TN area. Ask them how far they are willing to fly. Then find pilots in the next area & so on & so forth. You can find all the pilots u need in this web sites pilots forum. The pilots Post the area that they normally fly from. Different pilots & planes have different capabilities as how far they can fly, so remember to ask there capabilities. Also its a good idea on a multileg trip like this u have a back up plan in case of bad weather. Some pilots are unable to keep a dog over night.

So once again start by looking for pilots in the TN area on the Index on this website lableled" Pilot Voluntering". Then try Pilots in the WV & Pa & NY area.

If u have any other questions please feel free to ask for help.

Jerry

Thank you, saw there were a bunch of pilots that fly this route. Will email them tommorrow. I know the weather this time of year is iffy. We are trying for ground as well.
