*FILLED* TENTATIVE TRANSPORT ON SUNDAY

Please help with one rescue dog that would have been put down at Gaston Animal Control in North Carolina. I am giving this little girl a forever home. I live in Saint Augustine, FL. We have an airport right in the town on US1 specifically for small planes and transports. Please let me know asap if anything can be arranged. Anything that you can do would be greatly appreciated. I can be at that airport in 20 minutes from where I live.
]]Update], my dog is now with rescuer Sarah Kohler, phone number 410-609-0713, I know this is a MD number but Sarah transferred this number to her NC home. I desperately need transport for my dog "Serenity". I am disabled and cannot make the drive to NC or I would go get her myself. I can walk, but walking or driving for any length of time makes my pain unbearable. Please, please help me get her home. Airports at Sarah's location are Gastonia, Lincolnton and Iredell, NC.
Sarah said "Serenity" is very sociable with people and other dogs. She is a Pitt/LabX, about 48 lbs, 32" from head to foot, 30" in length, 1-2 years old in good health and vaccinated for travel. She is in heat, I guess she would need to be in a crate.
It is now Tuesday, December 15th and I am still praying that someone responds to this request.
Sincerely,
Linda Hilton
