The local shelter has 5 bassett hound pups - that are four months old now that need to get to rescue. They were pulled from the shelter before they got killed , got sick and are all healthy - they have been quarantined and ready to travel. Now the problem is that they are four months old and weigh about 40 lbs each - we need to get to rescue before they get too much bigger.
The rescue is in the NH area - they said the nearest airport is in the Concord, NH area.
The local shelter is actually in Summerville, GA - they can go to either Rome, GA - Lafayette, GA area or to Chattanooga, TN airport - your call
If anyone can assist - please email me at [email protected]
Thanks.

Re: 5 - 4 mo basssett hound pups to rescue
I have an offer from a pilot to fly the end leg picking up in PA or NY to fly into Concord, NH.
Anybody up for the first half of the leg?

Need flight from Chattanooga to NY or Pa for 1st leg
I have a pilot that has volunteered to take the dogs from NY or PA to NH - now I need a first leg of the flight.
The shelter is desperate to get these dogs moved so they the foster can take on more dogs and get these dogs into their forever homes.
Any takers?

I can haul the puppies(?) from Chattanooga to Somerset, KY, or Lexington, KY.
Since I'm based north of Louisville, that's an hour or so for the dogs and three and one half hours for me.
