Sorry I keep changing the 1st airport location, but I am trying to do what ever I can to get Frankie to Coatesville, PA. I hope I am not making this too confusing with all the posts.

Looking for transport for Frankie, 4.5 month old, 16lb, Black Lab Mix. Frankie is currently in Carrollton, KY. We can drive him to Blue Grass Airport (KLEX) in Lexington, KY or Bowman Field Airport (KLOU) in Louisville, KY or Capital City Airport (KFFT) in Frankfort, KY to move him towards Coatesville, PA (G.O. Carlson Airport [KMQS]) or any airport in the areas. Looking to fly on either August 13 or 15. Have a pilot that can meet at one of the following airports to bring to GO Carlson Airport (KMQS) in Coatesville, PA

Cumberland, MD (KCBE)
Martinsburg, WV (MRB)
Hagerstown, MD (HGR)
Frederick, MD (FDK)

Just need the 1st pilot to let me know what airport to bring Frankie too and what airport you will fly Frankie to so we can then arrange for a 2nd pilot, and so on.

Can move Frankie in two-three flights if necessary to remain under 300 miles for each pilot.

Nothing around Carollton...at all. Madison would be the closest airfield to you . Can you get across the Ohio to Indiana from the Carrolloton? I do not see a bridge on my chart.

If you can get the dog to Cumberland, MD (KCBE), I could bring Frankie to Coatesville on 12, 14 or 15 August, weather permitting.

Okay. Let's hope we can get a pilot to get Frankie to Cumberland, MD (KCBE) on the 12, 14 or 15. I am still waiting for the foster to get back to me to see if she can bring Frankie to Madison Airfield in Indiana and maybe Roy C can bring closer to you. I do not know how far Madison Airfield is from Cumberland, MD.

According to the foster, Madison, IN is only 30 minutes from her home. If we can get Frankie to the Madison airfield (what is the airport code) would you take the first leg? If so, where can you fly too? Gary S can pick up in Cumberland, MD. Not sure if you can fly to there or not. Also, the dates Gary is available are August 12, 14 or 15.

I think there has been a misunderstanding. I fly out of Elizabethtown, KY which is about 70 miles south west of Madison or IMS. Since I am limited to about 150 mile flight one way I doubt I could be of much help to you. I wrote to help you find an airfield close to Carrollton. Elizabethtown would be about an hours drive for your foster in the wrong direction. I am sorry for an confusion my attempt to help may have caused. That area from Louisville to Cincinnati is like a black hole for General Aviation no airfields at all until you get to the Cincy area.
