Heather-

As far as the Canada run, I can probably help with that too. Likely would bring the dogs to northern MN (have never flown into Canada). Let me know if that helps.

I prefer to stay within 150 miles of KC. I can take quite a few min pins, if we are putting them in the same crates. I have one large crate and two medium crates that I normally use.

I am based in Dallas (Addison airport) and am available to take some dogs as far north as Tulsa. SOwens (Olathe, KS) and I have met in Tulsa before and transferred dogs for trips north. I have a small aircraft with not a lot of cabin room but can carry several small crates. VFR only but am available most days.

OK all. It looks like we have a tentative plan. WOW and THANK YOU!!!! Please correct me if my notes are wrong below. We're still not sure when the dogs will be released to us, so please keep that in mind and maybe let me know when your avilable dates are for this weekend through December 20.

LEG 1 = John Watson: Dallas to Tulsa, Several small crates

LEG 2 = SOwens: Tulsa to Olathe, KS, 1 large & 2 medium crates

LEG 3 = Don Dalland: KS City to Rochester, MN - 3 large crates

Possible LEG 4? - Laura Herrmann: Rochester to Fleming Field (probably not worth it for that short of a flight) - 1 Large crate

This Friday and Saturday, 27-28 Nov would work for me. The weather is good to Olathe, but IFR north of there. However, the Baron can go IFR. Starting Sunday, the weather is poor for a while.

How many dogs? Will the crates go with the dogs, etc. Do we want to overnite the dogs in Kansas City?

Hello everyone, unfortunately I just picked up a transport for this Friday. From OJC to TVB, the only way I can help on Friday, is if we get the dogs closer to TVB than TUL. If not, I wont' be able to help until the end of December, sorry.

My schedule is pretty open from now through December (so far). Weekdays or weekends. Will just need a couple of days of notice.

If the min pins are not needing immediate transport, I can help on the following days, if the weather is VFR. If I fly on Friday the 27th, my capacity is limited due to the fact that I'll have 130 lbs of labs with me in the plane for another rescue. So if we postpone a week, I can take more dogs.

I'm available: Tuesday December 2nd, or Wednesday Dec. 3rd., also the following week on the 8th or 9th.

After that I'm pretty tied up until the end of December.

I'm also available to help transport from the Tulsa area, BVO is my home field 45 miles north of Tulsa and has a BIG NEW runway, however this weekend (11/27 thru 11/29) I will probably be out of town. Otherwise, I'm generally available on weekdays and weekends. If the Dallas connection would come a little further north I could assist Sarah Owens in flying multiple Min Pins into OJC which would allow multiple pilots coming from Dallas. I can handle 3 medium crates or several smaller ones and could probably stack them to allow more. I have a Piper Cherokee Dakota. That way we could load the Baron up to get more dogs moved to MN.

Doesn't sound like you will need my help since I have a smaller plane and can't take as many dogs.
