If need be I can take him on to Midland but I imagine we'll need some place to overnight in both Phoenix and Midland. The weekend of the 24th is good for me but I need to be home by the 27th.

Thanks for your help. I would like to see if we can get another Pilot from El Paso to Midland/San Angilo if we can. If we are unable to find the fourth Pilot then maybe we will have to take you up on your offer. I hate to have you do two legs on your own. BCBond said he could get an early start in San Diego and maybe be in PHZ by 9am. What does it take time wize to get to El Paso from PHX? We might be able to overnight in El Paso and then finish the trip the following day. Let me know your thoughts while we wait for a possible pilot for the El paso to Midland. We are not on a hard time line so I hope if we wait it out we can find the fourth Pilot. Take care and thanks for your help. Troy

What the best time frame for you for this trip? I couldn't get to San Diego until early evening on the 24th at the earliest. That means the soonest I can get the dog back to Phoenix for you would be Sunday (the 25th) morning or Monday the 26th. I, too, have to be back in Phoenix by Tuesday morning, but am available the rest of the week.

Would starting the trip later in the week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday the 29th-31st) work any better for you? It probably would on our end.

I'm 2 hours flying time from Phoenix to El Paso and 3.5 hours from Phoenix to Midland. That's a long time to keep an animal off the ground without a stop. I need to be in Phoenix on the 27th and again on the 29th for appointments but then I'm clear for a couple of weeks.

Sounds like maybe starting your leg on the 30th might work ok. I shouldn't have any problem getting the dog back to Phoenix Friday the 30th.

We are still looking for a Pilot to take the Leg from El Paso to the Midland area. It looks like it might work to start the flight in San Diego on 3/30 and have an overnight in El Paso or Midland and then finish the last leg on 3/31 Midland area to Austin. Anyone able to fly that leg from El Paso to Midland please post. Thanks, Troy :D

3/31 SHOULD work for me. Although my airplane is having its Annual done during the week. If any major work is required, then I might have to reschedule. I don't anticipate any surprises but you never now.

Troy,

Do you have (or can you get) a picture of the dog. I am trying to judge size for a possible kennel/crate for the back seat.
