We are about a week away from the flight date and still no Pilot for the El Paso to Midland leg. I am still holding out hope and plan to wait until Tuesday of next week before rescheduling another date. If anyone knows of someone in that area that could help please contact me.. I have send messages to everyone listed for that area on PNP as well as posting flyers in Pilot lounges in the area. No luck so far. Troy

San Diego to Austin

If need be, I can take him on to Midland. I probably would stop in El Paso for a pit stop, then it's only about 1 1/2 hours to Midland. We probably need to arrange an overnight in the Midland/Odessa area.

3/31 shoudl work for me for odessa-austin. My plane is being dropped off for annual inspection this week. So unless something major pops up, we are good to go.

HAR,

Since you have the longest leg(s) out of FFZ, what time do you need to be airborne by? It's about 2.5 hours for me from MYF back to Phoenix. Assuming no IFR in the morning (3/30), I can start as early as Troy can get the dog to me at MYF.

I'm planning 2 hours to El Paso, approximately 45 minutes on the ground, then 1 1/2 hours to Midland or maybe Ft. Stockton, whatever Shane wants. Tail winds should help. Then probably 1 1/2 hours on the ground and 4 to 4 1/2 hours back to Phoenix depending how strong the headwinds are.

OK, It looks like we are a go for the flight. I need you pilots to help me out. I will be putting a schedule together. If you guys could give me your flight times and ground times I will get it put togehter. I am planning to overnight in PHZ. I hope to not have to over night in Middland. You guys are the experts so lt me know what it will take. Thanks, Troy

I can meet HAR in Midland whenever. I prefer to not have to fly back in the dark if I don't have to. Its about 2-2.5 hours each way from Georgetown-Midland for me.
