Number of animals being transported: 1 to 3 (if you have room!)
Breeds, weight, age: brittany female 30 lbs. GG; 1 weim male 47 lbs. senior Axel; and one doxie 14 lbs. Rusty
Health Condition: all excellent
Heart worm Status: negative
Vaccinations: all up to date
Health Certificate: yes
Spay/Neutered: yes
Special needs: none
Name of Sending & Receiving Rescue/Parties:National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network
Contact information (publicly viewable on forum): Patti Lavine nationalbrittanyrescue@gmail.com 310.994.1062
Are you a 501c3: yes
Additional Info/situation: I have GG, a skittish britt going to her forever home in Concord. NorCal Weim rescue has a senior (Axel) AADR doxie rescue has a little boy that also needs a lift, Rusty. If you can take any or all on transport -- they are all good traveling and get along well with other dogs and people. We can provide crates if you like or they can be tethered. GG the brittany is skittish and that's why we need to fly her. Handing her off from one driver to another on a car transport would be too stressful. If you can fly anywhere near Concord including San Jose, Oakland, Livermore or any other airport, we would be eternally grateful. In terms of SoCal it can be any airport from L.A. to Bakersfield or Temecula...San Diego. Any SoCAl airport you like! Thank you so much for all you do!

We can do this on a weekday if we have some advance warning. Weekends are ideal, since most of us work and we can pretty much meet anywhere.

There is a possibility that I can pick GG up on Saturday afternoon (4/7) if you can get her to Paso Robles (KPRB). I would offer to take the others but they won't all fit in my Cessna 150 ;)

I am not 100% sure yet, but if you can get her there I can push to make my end work.

Don't want to step on toes here so if a relay between Paso etc is in progress then that's great. If it doesn't come together though I could (weather permitting) do all three dogs Saturday afternoon Van Nuys to Reid Hillview San Jose. You know the drill Patti so just let me know. Cheers, everybody!

Hey Steve,

That actually may work out better. My rental plane is taken in the A.M. and I am trying to convince the other renter to give it up; although I am not having much luck :D

Although, I live in San Jose so I could participate in a handoff or drive them if that helps. :plane:

AWESOME! That would work Steve! Cory, I think we have it covered with NorCal Weim Rescue. I'll double check but Steve's plan works. Right now it may only be GG and Axel the weim. Still waiting on word about the doxie -- he may have already received a ride. Will know more shortly but save seats for little GG and Axel boy! thank you so much!!

Hi Patti,
It sounds like you have this all worked out, but if not, I will am still planning to leave Friday morning from Temecula for San Jose (Reid Hillview) and I could take them all the way to Concord as well, so let me know if I can be of assistance.

Patti / Robert - okay I can do this Saturday leaving VNY around 2 or so. I have 2 other larger dogs going on that trip that I had to cancel tomorrow morning for because of weather. And another on the Saturday waiting list about 50 lbs or so. If Patti's guys can go Friday instead it sounds like Robert could have the whole journey covered and I could take this other guy Saturday that I don't presently have room for. But Patti I think you said you needed this to be on a weekend and if that's the case then Robert can I put you in contact with this other request for LA area to Livermore area for your Friday run? Thanks! Steve

Steve, I don't have anyone to get both dogs to Robert otherwise Friday would be fantastic to Livermore. If you don't have room, please let me know and I'll hunt for someone to take them to meet Robert on Friday instead.

Is one of your passengers a 50 lb. Chow mix for Blake Donovan's group? She emailed me yesterday needing a lift to the bay area for the chow mix.

Robert, it's a moving target...and still no word on our doxie so it's GG the brittany and Axel the senior weim who need a lift.

Steve, glad you can help.
Okay, there is a potential transport (senior Lab Mix from LA kill shelter) that I am trying to work with Paula of Van Nuys with for Friday to the Bay Area, but I am not familiar with Blake, so can someone get me her contact info or mine to her?

Thanks
Robert D.
