Number of animals being transported: 3
Breeds, weight, age: English setters 45 lbs (2 YO) 45 lbs (3 YO) 50 lbs (9-10 YO)
Health Condition: Females good, 9 YO Male has slight cardiac disease/enlarged heart
Heart worm Status: HW neg
Vaccinations: UTD
Health Certificate: yes
Spay/Neutered: yes
Special needs:The 3 YO (Tuck) especially needs gentle handling, Marley is on heart medication and he would prefer his collar not to be grabbed, HE DOES NOT NIP
Name of Sending & Receiving Rescue/Parties: A&B English Setter Rescue
Contact information (publicly viewable on forum): Faye Pugh, fpugh1@att.net, 573-819-2983
Are you a 501c3: yes
Additional Info/situation: Third Attempt! All three dogs are very sweet and loving. Bella (2) and Tuck (3) have lived their lives on a chain prior to owner relinquish to a shelter for being "too friendly." They have been in the care of a temp foster while Tuck healed from an infection resulting from her spay. They love extended car rides, however Tuck would travel better by air as she is exceedingly fearful of a harsh hand. Both girls need leash skills and their leashes need to be firmly in hand on transfers which is another reason for the request for air transport. The girls are petite in stature and build. Marley (9-10) will be added in OH. Marley has been in foster for a while and is finally going home to his parents who are anxiously waiting for him! Very sweet laid back guy, just dumped at the shelter, no info. Tuck will depart at KFDK, (Fredrick, MD), Bella at KMQS (Coatesville, PA) and Marley at KMJS in NJ.

Thank you. Your help to save these kids is very much appreciated. Feel free to call if you have questions, I will return all messages.

As on the last try, I can offer to bring them from the Cincinnati area to Frederick -- or, if things work out differently, from somewhere further east to New Jersey, bringing Marley back to FDK on the way home. I'm based at Frederick.

I am based in St. Louis but could easily pick up the two girls in COU and get them to Cinci area (Lunken LUK or Sporty's I69). We would fly IFR in reasonable weather, i.e. no spring T-storms and schedule can be pretty flexible (i.e. can fly many week days). Let me know if I can help with the starting leg.

I could pick up the two at FDK and deliver them to Coatsville and Toms River. Weekends are the only time I can assist.
Best,
Doug

Sorry, I was out yesterday as an election judge. I have spoke with David Kenny and he is free this weekend. Doug and Todd, what does your schedule look like for either the 7th or 8th? Faye

Okay, waiting to hear from Todd. I understand the early as possible, but coming from Missouri, that would probably be at least 1:00 p.m. Faye

Todd, our weather minimums are pretty similar. Weekends are better for me, and I don't fly really early in the morning, so let me know what kind of schedule you're thinking of.

Faye, I could do either Saturday or Sunday. Saturday's weather currently looks pretty good, though it's too early to put any stock in that.

Doug, I've got six hours of flying plus the ground stop to get to the Cincinnati area and back, so we'll be looking at late afternoon under the best circumstances. Will that still work for you? Another pilot has also offered to help, so if this is uncomfortable for you, it won't necessarily scrub the rescue.

My work number is (301) 695-2186. My e-mail is DJK3737T@EarthLink.net. I'm taking Friday off, but my home number is (301) 663-3460. I'm looking forward to getting this together!

Sorry guys, this weekend will not work for me. I am doing a 5 hr PnP flight on Friday 4/6 and can't do another on Saturday due to other commitments. Sunday is a holiday and won't work for me. I have another PnP flight for next Thurs 4/12. With work and family I'm unable to do this within the next seven days.

Hope I didn't lead you guys astray, I wasn't expecting this one to come together for this weekend :|
