John,

I'll measure one of the crates I have. You sticking the pooches in front, back, or thru the baggage door? I'll "loan" you the crate, but get it back to me-shipping should be included in the charitable donation.

The wx for Saturday looks gloomy-I still have my hopes up (it'll be my wife's FIRST PNP ride). Friday looks good though. Thoughts on a Friday flight?

Well, the wx system gets here first, so Fri. is forecast to deteriorate. Wind and rain. (assuming they are actually correct) Not sure myself or copilot can do Fri at the moment.
Monday is possible for us on this end, but wx still may be an issue. Catch-22. Can you guys consider Mon?
Crate-wise, I have a couple myself; little puppies don't take up much room so I guess the crate will be small, just want to confirm. It will ride on back seat; don't like the baggage area as it gets cold back there.
My stubby '67 Cherokee is a foot shorter than the ubiquitous Warrior/Archer series since '74. Space is at a premium.

Damn Pipers...just kidding. Not a fan of baggage area myself. I could do Monday-time(s)?

BTW-you and I are destined to meet-we've worked too many transports to not meet in person.

Good. I just confirmed we can do Monday if wx washes out the weekend. I would be looking at arrival KIGQ around 1:15p CDT earliest, or later if you need/want. Let me know if that works and lets see what the senders/receivers have to say about a Monday transport as a backup.

We could make it 2-2:30 ish CDT for an arrival into KIGQ-that should work out just fine.

Hi Everyone! I am so sorry I have not responded. I normally receive notification via email when a response has been posted and I have not received anything over the past two days. UGH, I am so sorry and will definitely need to check this page throughout the day. I have actually been working on the contingency ground transport since I noticed the weather forecast has gotten worse as the moved forward. We do have a ground transport in place and there is need to move the puppies this weekend (since they are with a temporary foster). Given the weather forecast, it may be best to stick with the ground transport since Monday’s weather is not a guaranty.

What are your thoughts? Puppies are small enough to fit in one medium sized crate.

Just let me know, I will keep the page up on my PC while I am work and promise much quicker responses.

If I were in charge and they had to be moved, I would go with the sure-thing ground transport if it's set up to go. I will keep Monday available if that falls through. Keep us updated.

I agree John, I'd really like to fly these pups but the wx isn't going to allow it I think. As well, I'll keep Monday as an option.

Look at me ... responding quickly!!! I will let you know if something falls through via the ground transport, but agree we should pursue it first since it guaranties their movement. Thanks for all of your help, unfortunately Mother Nature is not being nice! For what it is worth, we move dogs all the time between MI, IL and into WI. We would love to work with you in the future.
