The new family can also go to any of these airports if one works better than the others

In addition to the Bemidji airport, any of the following airports would work:
Minneapolis – St. Paul (4.5 hours from us)
Fargo, ND (2.5 hours from us)
Duluth, MN (3 hours from us)
Brainerd, MN (2.5 hours from us)
Thief River Falls, MN (2 hours from us)
