Additional Info/situation: We are trying to move these 4 SMALL dogs from Knoxville, TN to Winchester, KY to catch a ride with a transport going from there to NY. They need to arrive at the Lexington Blue Grass airport by 4:20 pm on Friday, May 18 in order to get to Winchester in time to catch their ride. I checked the long range forecast and as of now it looks we'll have good weather in the area on May 18.

Can any of the dogs be put together in a kennel, or do they all need to be seperated? Do they come with their own kennel? Do they specifically need to go to Blue Grass in Lexington or would Hisle Field in Mt. Sterling work also (near Winchester)? Do they have to specifically go on Friday may 18 or could they go on Thursday May 17 if a ride was available?

Lorene,
I can fly the dogs to IOB Mt Sterling,KY from Knoxville Downtown Island. I have crates they can ride in, if needed. I'm sure the long distance transporter has crates for the rest of the trip.

Thank you, Jim and Paul. Sounds like either of you could give the dogs a ride on Friday. Jim wrote to me off line on this, so we are planning that Jim will cover this one.

Paul, some of these dogs can share a crate. They won't have their own crates though. Also Mt. Sterling/IOB is better than Lexington. I mention this because the rescue will be needing help like this (Knoxville to IOB) once or twice a month. Perhaps you could help another time. For future reference, Where are you based? How many dogs can you carry? Do you have some crates?

A BIG THANKS TO YOU BOTH!

Thanks Jim for taking this one, I would have been better for Thursday afternoon. I am based out of TN 98 Skyranch, north of McGee Tyson. I have an extra large crate with a partition to halve it. I also have a small crate and have room to take another, for a total of 4 seperate compartments (for small dogs). I love the little ones have a rescue chihuahua (by plane) and rescue dachs. Please let me know next time you need transport.
