Can someone help me plan out a transport from TX to WA?

Post by HeatherFall2 » Sun Nov 04, 2012 11:59 am

I need to get two SDit's GSD from TX to WA.

The dogs are:

1. Male, neutered 9 month old German Shepherd. Weighs 50 lbs. Healthy. Dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly.
2. Male, neutered 1.5 yo German Shepherd mix. Weighs 50 lbs. Healthy. Dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly.

I have never taken on planning a trip this far.

Can someone please help me break this trip into legs so I can post it and maybe have some volunteers?

Thanks
Heather

Hi Heather,
Rather than trying to break down your trip into legs, I would suggest posting it & waiting for pilots to reply. Some have airports/distances they prefer that you may not have chosen. They also have more tools available to them for planning.
Or you can post your request & then use the "more mapping options" to see pilots along the route & start contacting them.

Good luck,
Joanne

Joanne,

Thanks for the reply. I did that in my original post to the "Needs Transport" area. BUT someone asked for me to break it up into legs. Someone also suggested that I contact pilots in those states and ask them via PM for help. I am trying to get them out of TX and to WA ASAP as the rescue they are coming from is out of room.

Thanks for your help.
