Well this is not what we wanted. Heavy fog here in Baltimore this morning: 1/2 mile visiibility and 100 foot ceilings. I will not depart in this. The forecast expects it remain around 300 & 1 until 10 am, then improving substantially to VFR. That would put our entire timetable off by 2 1/2 hours. Yuri, please weigh in with your thoughts when you get this message, or call me at 240.447.7295.

I'll go to the airport this morning to prep the plane and be on standby until I hear something.

Yes, I'm still in the blue and white Mooney N201LP.

Yes, it does not look too good. It's supposed to clear up by mid-day, but by then it will be too late for David to depart. I am OK with pushing it back an hour or so, but there are some rain showers coming up to NY area in the evening, so I would not want to push it much more than that.

Bottom line - David, if you think you can get back to MTN by, say, 3 pm - go for it. If not, we better reschedule.

Unfortunately I would have to leave here now to be back by 3, and we're still fogged in. I agree, we'll have to try again another time.

I've volunteered for another transport next weekend, tentatively for Saturday. I am also available Friday and Sunday; my preference would be to try on Friday.

Sorry we couldn't make this happen today; I really want to help get Niki up north where she can start her HW therapy.

Safety first.

Niki has a back-up ground transport for next Saturday, so unless something happens mid-week, we'll go with that.

Thank you both very much for your efforts.
