I said that as well when it was on another board. I think the details of what happened need to be removed and his memory honored for the compassionate man he was for these helpless souls he cared so much about.

Joe,
I love you. R.I.P I take some comfort in the fact your suffering stopped when your plane stopped.
You are in peace now. I miss you thought we would have more time! See on the other side some day.

Love,
Your Brother Jim

I am shocked to see he has finally been found. I am so very sorry for your loss, for everyone's loss. Joe was a Hero to the animals and I will forever remember him for the day he freed Magic from the Los Angeles shelter and he was with her when she passed away. Fly high Joe on Magic's angel wings.

Jim, we are very thankful for all the lives Joe saved while flying his plane as a volunteer with PNP. Your family, and all of us, finally have closure and though he is missed, his memory will always be honored.

Well said Debi.
Jim there are no words that can possibly make it better, but please know that your brother was much loved by all of us in the rescue community. It breaks my heart that the man that gave so much to us, asked for so little in return. Like others I'm sure; I wish he had known that he meant so much to me. He was a thoughtful generous soul that rarely said no to helping our many second hand hounds.

In speaking with him (as I am across the country, we never actually met) I recall the joy in his voice for not only the opportunity to help one of my dogs, but the opportunity to fly his little RV he worked so hard to put together. Every time I saw a photo of his plane, or spoke with him, I imagined a little red Vette, lovingly restored with the fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview LOL

Funny what you 'see' in your minds eye when you talk with someone on the phone.

He took these photos.. I love how you can touch the sky

My love to you and your family and to the memory of N650RV and the man that gave our dogs wings.
