Additional Info/situation: Two owner surrenders. Poodle Rescue of Vermont covers all of NY for poodle rescue. Both poodles are A+ adorable and will get adopted in a snap.

I live in NYC (upper west side) and will be driving up to Saratoga Springs, NY most likely on December 26. Happy to give these guys a lift and rendezvous with anyone able to take them the rest of the way.

I may be flying north past Saratoga to BTV on the 26th, but won't know until the 23rd or 24th.

The first leg helps a lot with costs - TEB is one of the most expensive airports in the nation for small aircraft.

Now this sounds like a PLAN!!!

Jim, will you let me know ASAP if you are flying. I will start making prep work for pick up on the 26th anyway just in case.

An FYI, the family surrendering the pup were displaced in Hurricane Sandy...they are living without internet and all together in one small place. The Veterinary Hospital is helping navigate the placement. Puppy going in for health cert today or tomorrow.

Hi. I might be able to pick them up on 12/24 in the morning. If this could work I would recommend a pickup at White Plains at 10:00. If both dogs are in the city(Brooklyn and the Bronx) I could check with a couple of friends to see if they would be willing to pick them up and meet us in White Plains. Will the dogs be in crates? Another to add to the list - I should know by tomorrow evening if I can take them the whole way on 12/24. I'm in NYC and could pick them up or meet someone in the morning then fly CDW to BTV.
