I have a crate, so I won't need one.

Thanks Mahesh,

How far south (etc) are you comfortable flying if MJM351 can't make the flight?

Just brainstorming!

Thanks,
Leslie

what day are you planning on doing this? You want me to do the leg from KPEO to W24 back to KPEO correct? I am a VFR only pilot so weather will play a big part in this. You can call me at 315 374 5515 if needed. thanks

mjm351,

We are shooting for Sat 2/2.

Per my post on Saturday, we could meet at W24 or Blacksburg for even cheaper fuel.

Let's look at the weather later in the week (VFR and Ice).

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all of your help with this. I'd like to join everyone up together in email conversations, including the sending and receiving parties.

Christophe, I have your email address. Mahesh and MJM351, can you email your email addresses to me at [email protected]?

This way, we can get everyone on the same page for the tentative flight mission.

Take care,
Leslie

Thank you Leslie for putting this on 1 thread with personal emails. I have a crate too.

Mahesh

As backup if WX turns IFR but no ice, how far can you go down south in case we need to do only 2 legs? Could we meet in VA somewhere SWest of DC?

Chris, let me look at the map and get back to you on your question. Given expected sub freezing temps, it seems unlikely that we will have IFR conditions without ice, however. Leslie, I have sent you an email with my contact info.

Ok just to confirm. We are trying this for saturday and now i should be looking to go from kpeo to somewhere near HEF for pickup then can meet back at kpeo for someone to pickup the last leg to buffalo. I have not taken the required DC SFRA training so i would need to meet outside of the 60nm area so KHGR is on the edge of the sfra. Sorry to be a pain. 315-374-5515

I can meet Mjm351 at KPEO or fly to KHEF if he is unable to pick Polly up from Christophe. The DC SFRA course doesn't take too much time. I will have to retake it if I am flying to KHEF.
