What a story! Karon, I can do this entire flight in one leg, picking up at Tri-Cities airport in Bristol/Johnson City/Kingsport and returning to Baltimore. Flying another mission this Saturday, and Sunday's weather looks poor. Next weekend I'm available Saturday and Sunday.

That's great, David!! The person that will meet you at the airport (sender) will tell you the story. Some people are just pathetic! I will email you an "intro" email shortly.

The eskie is getting a health certificate today.

Dave,
If I can get another pilot to fly from Rogersville half-way, could you fly during the week? If not, then next weekend will be okay, but I maybe I can get a closer pilot to the sending party so she won't have to drive 2 hrs.

If you can find another pilot to do the first part that would be fine, but I won't be available during the week. If the other pilot wants to fly partway next weekend, that would be fine, too.

I can help with this. Weather depending Saturday March 30 is better than Sunday for me. I'm based at TRI. I can fly to Hawkins County to pick up the dog (Closest airport to Rogersville). I can head northeast from there. I'm thinking Greenbrier Valley or Roanoke. I'm IFR current, no ice.

Thank you Janice! That will help the rescue a lot. Let's plan for Greenbriar Valley on Saturday March 30.

My end looks good too. Still planning to make the exchange at LWB on Saturday, March 30. My preference is mornings, what's yours? I could be there by 10 am.

Hi David:

Morning is OK for me. I think our rescue person is going to leave the dog with the vet who is in Greenville, TN. She's being spayed and vetted. Greenville is actually a better airport for me. It's about an hour from GCY to LWB which means they need to get the dog there by 0900 for us to get to LWB by 1000 EDT. She is going to check with the vet to see about Saturday hours for getting our little girl. I'm in my home email constantly for many reasons. If you want, we can switch to that to expedite.
