Additional Info/situation:These girls will die if we can not get them to rescue here in Colorado, I have been working on transport for days to no avail. The pit bull only has three legs and I figure she has suffered enough, now it's time for a chance at a forever home. Her and her sister and brother were dumped and they won't tell me what happened to the brother so I guess you know what that means. ok guys, I have a gentle man willing to get the girls from a few places in Kansas to Colorado, anybody willing to get them from Houston to Kansas?

Re: Sissy and Big Mama need rescue to Colorado to be pts in
God bless ya Murphy, now what route would I try to concentrate on to get them to Kansas? Any idea what my best bet is?
Re: Sissy and Big Mama need rescue to Colorado to be pts in
Depends on the pilots. Houston - Dallas area (Houston-Dennison is 235 nm). Dennison to Garden City is over 300 nm then Garden City to Denver is 210 nm. Most of us try to keep the legs to 200-250 miles each. It also depends entirely on the speed of the airplane.ritab64 wrote:God bless ya Murphy, now what route would I try to concentrate on to get them to Kansas? Any idea what my best bet is?

Hello out there, Big Mama and Sissy are still in need. I guess I somehow marked the done status but this is not the case. I have also received a plea for a bloodhound and two pointers that need to get to Colorado. Help...
Re: Sissy and Big Mama need rescue to Colorado to be pts in
Thanks so much Rita for putting me in contacting with ground transport for Rio the bloodhound.

Sissy and Big Mama still need a ride, Does anyone fly out of McAllan Airport in Harlingen TX? The shelter said they have driven dogs there before for transport to Houston and further. The zip code is 78550

Oh Rita, I am sorry to hear that... after you were so helpful in getting Rio and Sherra a ride...
Have you tried Wade out of Houston... I will email the two of you... to put you in touch.
