Chevy,

I can probably do it next weekend if the weather cooperates. He'll have to lay in the back because I can't fit a crate that large in the plane. How is his temperment? Most Aussies and BCs just curl up in the back and take a nap, but if he is high strung we will have to come up with a way to keep him out of my lap.

Hiya Marty! How was your trip to FLA?

Journey isn't what I would call high-strung, and he rides well in the car. Calmly that is... I believe he should be fine riding loose in the back. But we can always send him with a harness so that he can be tethered.

The adopters are driving down from CT to meet Journey's flight in PA, so we'll be shooting for a late morning arrival in York. We'll keep an eye on the weather and see what transpires.
Thanks Marty!

Hi Chevy,

Did they pick York, PA for a particular reason? It takes me through the Class B around DC and BWI; and also through the SFRA. It's no big deal, but if they are coming from CT we might be able to find a better place to meet.

The trip to FL went well. A little weather on the way down. Good weather on the way back. I brought a terrier with me on the return.

I always tether loose dogs to the seat belt anchor using the leash. As long as he has a collar and leash, we'll be good to go.
