Additional Info/situation:

Both pups currently in foster homes. Chiweenie is an owner surrender, while Curtis, the Golden-mix pup, was abandoned in a park.

Chiweenie needs to get to Pearland, TX, airport (LVJ), which is near the shelter. Curtis needs to be dropped off en route to Pearland at New Iberia, LA (ARA--Acadiana Regional Airport). A small crate will do nicely for the Chiweenie, while Curtis will need a larger, smallish/medium crate.

Weather is looking great for our area--finally!! Tomorrow (Friday, Aug. 30) will not work for this trip as there is no one available to meet the plane in Pearland. However, this weekend and Monday (Labor Day) are a "go" for us.

I can do this trip on Saturday morning. Would it be possible to drop off at Ellington Field (EFD) rather than Pearland (LVJ)? Ellington is just a few minutes away. I can be at Hammond by 11:00 am on Saturday. If this is acceptable you can call me at 713-480-2593 to discuss.

Welcome new PnP pilot Steve Glenn, who along with his daughter Jillian, completed this trip today in grand style. Pups got to ride in an air conditioned Cirrus and all stops were accomplished timely. Jillian fell in love with little Chiweenie, Moniquika, and there Is talk the Glenn family might adopt her from Brazoria Co. Humane. Thanks to all the rescuers who made this trip possible.

Carolyn
