If someone could meet me in the RDU area, I would be able to pick up the Shelby to RDU part of the flight. Would anyone be able to do it tomorrow (Sunday) morning?

Thank you for your offer to help!

If no one can volunteers for tomorrow, would next Saturday, 9/21 work for you? I have ground transport from South Hill to Newport News for next Saturday, so that would just leave us with RDU to South Hill?

Thanks again,
Emily

I may be able to take the "western" leg of the flight on Sunday.

Pat - what time would you want o meet back in the RDU area? Emily - what time of day can the folks in VA receive the dog ... and any chance the sending party could drive up to Lake Norman to meet me (vs flying into Shelby)?

I may be totally confused, but it seems you are both talking about taking the same portion of the transport?

I will check with sending and receiving fosters on my end to see about timing, etc. Thanks!

We are both based in the Raleigh area. One if us would fly west ... the other east.

I have ground transport to as far as Lexington, NC and from South Hill, VA on next Saturday, 9/21. Can either of you do a Lexington, NC to South Hill, VA leg (or any portion of that) next Saturday?
Thanks,

Emily,

Do you have ground transport available on Sun 9/22 on both ends? If so, and weather is good, I could do Davidson Co, NC (LXX) to South Hill, VA (AVC) leg. Or, if your ground transport is able to deliverer the dog to me at Rock Hill SC (UZA) I could fly it directly to South Hill. Let me know if any of those options work.

We could likely get ground transport together for the 22nd, I'd have to confirm it would work for them. I thought the forecast was looking nasty for this weekend?

The flight would be IFR, so that would give us a little more flexibility with regards to the weather. I will check the Sunday forecast tomorrow, and hopefully then we'll have a better idea of if the weather is going to cooperate.
