“Thank you Don for the wonderful “bang-up” job you did stepping to the plate and getting little “JET” as we now will call him, urgently to the vets down in Fort Worth. His fractured femur was more severe than we expected and he will be in the operating room getting it fixed . If it were not for wonderful volunteer pilots like yourself we wouldn’t be able to respond so quickly to situations like this and provide this type of rescue. This little guy would have been in pain if we exposed him to a motor vehicle trip for four hours today. And if we could not rescue him from the city shelter, I fear he faced certain euthanization. We’ll be posting pictures on our website shortly of his rescue with PilotsNPaws. Thank you on behalf of Doodle Rescue and all the dogs you save.
