The “Wingless Division” of Pilots N Paws
Hi All,
This end of the year transport began on Monday as I drove to Marianna, FL. Along the way I picked up a cat from the Marathon Shelter that was going to Kentucky as part of a Florida Keys mans dying wish, two Jack Russel terriers that were going to Sarasota and three Pit Bulls that were going to Pensacola. I dropped off the JRT’s to their rescue along US27 and then set off for Marianna. I met up with Carrie from Phoenix Rising and delivered the three Pit Bulls before spending the night with the cat.
On Tuesday morning I met up with the Alabama Rescue Relay and gave them the cat and then we proceeded to load up the 73 dogs/puppies for the trip south. The first group of three dogs was delivered to Ocala, FL, the second group of 28 was delivered to Wildwood, FL and 4 rescues, the third group of 26 was sent to Orlando and the last group of 16 was delivered to West Palm Beach before turning in for the night.
On Wed morning I picked up a little Poodle in Miami that had been adopted by a family in Key West and brought her back to the Keys.
It was a successful transport by the “Wingless Division” of Pilots N Paws.
