We flew a Pilots N Paws mission yesterday to transport a sweet senior Shih Tzu named “Pops” who had been turned in to the Baldwin Park, CA shelter.  This sweet boy needed a lift to Muttville Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco and we were happy to be able to help.

When he was pulled from the shelter he had the usual UTI along with ear and dental issues.  A guardian angel stepped up and covered his medical and wonderful Foster Mom Heather cared for him for a week until he was up for his Freedom Flight.

Heather brought him to LGB and, with sad goodbyes (she, of course, fell in love with him), we tucked him in for his flight and delivered him to Muttville volunteer Fiona who met us in Palo Alto.  So wonderful to be able to provide this perfect little senior with a new beginning.
