June 12th, 2015 LA to Bay Area

Thank you Pilots N Paws pilot Maurice Gunderson for this gift of flight to transport 10 year Harper to his new home in San Francisco, CA.  Harper was rescued from (high kill) East Valley, Los Angeles, CA shelter by Jasmin of Saving K9 Lives. Jasmin worked to find Harper the purrfect home and with the help of rescue friends sharing.  Harper was discovered by a lady named Tara that wanted to make Harper a part of her family and give this special senior dog the best life possible in this senior stage of his life, Harper needed to get from Los Angeles, CA to San Francisco, CA. So thanks to Pilots N Paws, transport was not an issue.
Jasmin drove Harper to board his flight departing from Fullerton, CA airport. Lisa picked up Harper from his flight  at Buchanan Field airport in Concord, CA and transported Harper to his new home in the Bay Area.  An important shout out and thank you to Harper’s Los Angeles “foster dad ” Paul who cared for and loved Harper until his purrfect home was found.  Another great rescue story.  Once again a reminder of the “life saving” efforts put forth by caring compassionate people with like minds to get a sweet dog into a safe loving home.
