Memphis is a hit and run survivor.  A Good Samaritan found him and took him to a vet.  He had a punctured lung, broken hip, and nerve damage.  The American Brittany Rescue agreed to fund his surgery and arrange a foster.  Jim Carney and Jim Bordoni transported Memphis following his surgery.

In the time since the video was taken, Memphis has made a full recovery, although he lost a front leg due to nerve damage.  His Foster mom adopted him, and Memphis is in training as a service dog.

He is sweet as sugar and will soon be visiting veterans who have lost limbs in the war. His message is one of hope that life may be different but full and rewarding.
