Roger Murtie saw my post for a flight needed from Gardner, IL to Lafayette,  TN. He offered to do the flight. Ellie left for TN on August 16th 2015. I was in tears as Ellie was part of another Pilots n Paws story. She was part of 8 puppies flown from San Antonio, TX to my rescue in IL back in May. I grew attached to her and Roger said that if I ever wanted her back he would bring her to me; she was going to my best friend. Roger and his wife Stormi flew off to TN.

After arriving in TN my friend decided a 4 month old puppy was too much for her so arrangements were made on the forum and on Aug 27th Roger brought her back to IL.

I have met some wonderful pilots that have truly gone out of their way for the pups. Thank you so much Roger and to Stormi for letting me borrow her husband for this round trip flight. It was such a pleasure meeting both of you. Ellie is back with me!

The last photo is Ellie arriving home. She slept the half hour drive back HOME!
