James Rankin recently flew his first Pilots N Paws trip.  He sent us the following:  Though very cold, the weather around Chicago was otherwise beautiful. My friend Sarah and I flew a Cirrus SR22 to Indianapolis, where we picked up Matilda and Chris, her surrogate puppy.

Both were well behaved and friendly. Shortly after takeoff on our way back to Chicago, both dogs took a nap. I had brought along blankets for both of them, and they did seem comfortable with the flight. Reaching the Chicago area, we landed at DuPage and met with the rescue organization picking up the dogs. Both dogs did great on the trip, and it’s rewarding to know we helped them reach their forever homes.
