We chose to fly Maggie & Goldie because they were sisters in separate foster homes, but going to single forever home.  At the last minute Goldie became ill, so we flew Maggie solo.  We planned to put them together in a large crate, but at 5 pounds (maybe) it seemed overkill.

Tammy held her the entire flight.  Barely five minutes after departure, Maggie was curled up and sleeping in the crook of Tammy’s arm.  With a groundspeed in the 160 knot range it was less than 2 hours to Hilton Head. She did not even wake up during the descent and landing (probably due to superior airmanship).

The folks at Signature Aviation and KHXD Tower, could not have been more helpful.  Start to finish, a professional operation.

Maggie immediately bonded with her new mother and I am a bit closer to my 200^th rescue.
