Adorable mom & pups head to a new home!

I’ve done probably close to 40 or 50 rescues with PNP, including roughly 9 cross country rescues coordinated by some amazing PNP volunteers. I wanted to send a brief story and some pictures of our most recent rescue on Saturday 7/30.

I met up with Lizbeth Olivia Luna, who rescued a dog from the streets of Mexico who had recently given birth to 2 pups, a boy and a girl. Through PNP’s website, I was able to meet up with her in San Diego, and fly all three of them up to Bakersfield to a shelter/rescue (https://www.petmatchmaker.org/).

The rescue went off without a hitch. It was super hot, but the pups were calm as soon as we started the plane’s motor, and they slept the whole way. Mom, on the other hand, didn’t like being in the box, and jumped out and kept us company up front.

Attached are a bunch of pictures. Thanks!
